More pictures. Drawing on Year of the Ox in progress – drinking from ox chawan – and a newly ordered and opened 100 g bag of “Reizhou Shincha 2020”, only released now for the chinese new year. From my dear former workplace, Sing Teahouse, which sadly is shutting down its physical store due to the C situation.

All Saints Day, Hallow’s Day, Halloween. Energies shifting and changes coming up. Two fullmoons in one month, harvest moon on the 1st, hunters moon on the 31st. Full moon on All Saints evening… Here som pictures from the ‘Special Yunnan Tuo Cha Shou Pu Erh’ yesterday, plus two from this morning, where I continue with the same tea. Still lots of power, round, soft warmness. I was reading a book about the marshes in southern Denmark, where the foggy picture with sheep matched the weather we gad. Today I picked out a round light blue fluorite, which looks like a full moon, and a drawing of the rabbit in the moon, from a japanese legend. The rabbit is supposed to sit up there and grind herbs, producing the elixir of life. When the silver bowl of the moon is full, the elixir drips down to earth as heavenly dew. Hope you like my little rabbit, hope you enjoy some tea. ☺

Happy New Year out there – all the best, health, happiness and spiritual growth to you all. My drawing this “Year of the dog”, the 11. animal in the chinese zodiac. The dog here represents fx loyality. And my motiv is a blend of chinese, japanese and danish tradition – chosen from H.C. Andersens fairytale “The Tinderbox”, or “Fyrtøjet”. The story goes like this: a solder is asked by a witch to crawl through a whole in an old tree, down in the ‘underworld’ or mystic world of ‘un’consciousness. He there meets three dogs who safeguard three treasureboxes with money – cobber, silver and gold. Their eyes as big as teacups (!), millstones and even the Round Tower of Copenhagen. Courageously he lifts them down and gains the money. One thing he needs to bring the witch – a mystic tinderbox. Asking what us is for and not getting an answer, he cuts the witch’s head off – and then goes enjoying his money. But after that is gone, he has only the tinderbox left, uses it – and the dogs come to FULFILL his wishes. This includes the princess and ruling the country. Happy dramatic ending. Spiritual enlightenment told in beautiful pictures, and much more than just a funny story…

Happy New year over there in the East : ) Here is my usual drawing of the chinese zodiac. Black watercolour pencil an watercolour paper. Somehow the idea was born in my head, or somewhere else, that he had to lay an egg. I’m not sure if that was a universal joke, or an attemp to include the feminine energies into the picture, and the coming year… ; )

Here is my drawing for the Chinese New Year 2016 – Year of the Monkey. Very much inspired by zen-master Hakuin’s illustration of a monkey, trying to grasp the moon reflection in the water…

Chinese New Year approaching… My drawing of the “Year of the Sheep 2015” is here. Inspired by a scull from a 3 year old male sheep, the face shown half alive and half dead – reminding of the never ending circle of life and death, and how fragile our lives are. Lets celebrate it, and drink some tea…

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Her de første to ideer:
