I would like to post some photos from my sencha / oolong / puerh tea drikning, too – apart from the cha-no-yu information. Inspired by international blogs, these will be in english – to be able to share them to more people.

First, here a few photos from drinking japanese green tea, Sencha, the new harvest of 2011. The name  of this specific tea is “Haru honaka”, a mixture of tencha (tea leaves for matcha production) and the finest green leaf tea in japan, gyokuro. “Haru “means spring – but I hope I got the name right, since I cannot find a translation for “honaka”. I got it in april 2011, from the danish teashop and teahouse “Sing Tehus”, www.singtehus.dk.

Fine, dark green dry leaves, needle thin, with an intense, green juicy aroma…

The tea liquor is nearly thick, fresh livly, nourishing. It was a pleasure…
